Inlays & Onlays
Dr. Youngquist gets to know each of his dental patients here in American Fork. Because not all situations call for inlays and onlays, Dr Youngquist will assess your situation to determine the best solution for you.
The procedure of receiving an inlay or only starts by cleaning the tooth and moving any decay and filings. Dr. Youngquist will then take a digital impression, and use a CEREC machine to create your custom inlay. Once the restoration has been created, Dr Youngquist cements the final inlay or onlay into position.
Ensuring proper bite alignment is most important when performing the modifications. The final step includes polishing the teeth to help create the perfect match to its surrounding teeth.
